It is unknown whether this Bandersnatch sequel will be interactive like the first movie. I sincerely hope so—watching the film again and experimenting with different options to see how they affected the plot was a lot of fun.
According to the teaser, the show also appears to address virtual reality, augmented reality, and artificial intelligence, or “artificial life,” as one of Peter Capaldi’s characters refers to it. Although the series periodically offers its protagonists at least a semi-hopeful, if not a joyful ending, it appears that nothing works out all that well for anyone.
